| Post subject: | IBM Thinkpad T21 laptop as a frontend |
I have an IBM thinkpad T21 working as a frontend and displaying out to my TV. It works as running off the CD only, but just to the LCD screen. I order to get it to run off the hard drive and to be able to display out to the TV via the S-Video port I was able to use a nice utility called S3Switch. (Thanks to Tim Roberts.) http://www.probo.com/timr/savage40.html I just thought I'd post this incase anyone else was thinking of using a T21 (or similar) as a frontend. I still have some issue to workout, but I don't think those have to do with hardware, but rather settings / configuration that I need to figure out. |
