Is there a list somewhere of the "shortcut" keys in the R5.5 GUI. I read the R5.5 hints and found ALT-2, ALT-3, ALT-S and ALT-X described there. Are there other "shortcuts"?

Is there a shortcut to restart the front-end? I have had the front-end die on me a number of times and for a while couldn't figure out to restart the front-end except by rebooting. My current way of restarting the frontend is to type ALT-X to start an Xterm then type mythfrontend in the Xterm window.

The definitive list would be nice; better yet where are the shortcuts defined? it might be nice to add my own one or two.

wallabybob, I believe Alt-M starts the front-end. A more general key combo is Ctrl-Alt-Backspace (Yes, Backspace -- not Delete) That combo restarts X-Windows on most (All?) linux distros. Usually you end up back at the logon screen, but since KM does an auto-login you end up back at a fresh front-end screen.
That's my lazy and probably not very recommended way of closing out everything I was doing and returning to a "fresh" state.

Thanks for that suggestion. Ctrl-Alt-Backspace is a common X11 key combination to restart the X server. An effective way to restart the front end. Brutal perhaps, but effective.

Most of the KnoppMyth specific shortcuts can be found in: /etc/X11/fluxbox/keys

I take it that, in the file, the Mod1 means the Alt key.
