I have a 6.03 install using a PVR250 on analog Comcast

Previously I had a 5.x install and was using a serial irblaster I made to control a DISH box.

Comcast is converting our area to digital so I have a new Cisco RNG-100 box.

Since 6.0x has a config system built in for an irblaster it would seem the way to do this would be to get the proper lirc config file for the RNG-100 and create a new directory in templates such as /usr/MythVantage/templates/transmit/rng_100 and copy the new lircd.conf there and then use the setup to link the serial port to that config?

I found someone had mentioned they needed to control a RNG100 on a 5.x install and they used this config file:

Yes, creating a dir and copying your config to it would make it available thru the Service Menu. Should the lircd.conf work for you, please open a ticket so we can include it in future releases.
