Hi,
I've started to see an annoying problem on my mythbox after my upgrade to 7.2.
With some frequency I'm beginning to get empty recording files from one (possibly more) of my tuner cards.

I currently have installed 2 cards a nova-t and a nova-t500. The latter beings duel tuner card. My initial assumption was the older nova-t card was beginning to show its age. So I pulled it, but then observed the same blank recordings being made.

I put that back and tried some tests: i deleted all cards and channels and re added and re scanned everything. I reduced all virtual tuners to 1. And set some recordings off. Simultaneous recording worked. Stopped each recording by deleting, which worked for two but one recording complained. I had to stop the recording, wait for various jobs to complete then delete it.

I saw this several times. I also noticed the tuner card position changed when going back and forth into myth setup. Might this be the cause.

I'm a bit stuck and waf is dropping.
Any help greatfully received.

This is most certainly a problem with UDEV, and it can be fixed! See this thread for more details
