I am having the same problem, but im using an ancient PC so I just assumed that's why. PII 400MHz with an 8 GB HDD. New video card and an audigy, however.

Hi smeggles,

The PII 400 should be ok, eye candy in music is on the edge, tv is fine with a pvr-350, the 13 gig drive is a bit small but will be ok for a single boot. It does leave me a couple ~ 3 hours of record . I have found about 13 gig is the smallest that works stable. (mine also works as a ftp server and with a 13 gig, no issues)
Dual boot would most likely be ok at 20 gig assuming 5 gig for M$

Type of video card, mem size are factors also.

A peek at my system:
root@KnoppMyth-13:~# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/hda1 4.6G 3.0G 1.5G 67% /
/dev/hda3 7.5G 4.9G 2.7G 65% /myth

hda2 is 512 swap
Mike
