Is there an installation log stored somewhere on my hard drive during a manual install?

I am getting some errors flash by on the screen, and I would like to be able to go back and see what they were.

You can ignore any errors that you get at the end of the install.

But look into /tmp with 'ls -Al /tmp' there might be some errors listed in subdirectories there during the install process (before the reboot, of course).
