Fine if you want to pick apart each word and not understand the point Im getting at thats okay. I want to know if anyone has installed knoppmyth on two seperate machines where one is turned into a frontend machine and the second is turned into a backend machine.

My backend works perfect and allows connectivity from only a cd frontend install and NOT from installing a fullcopy on it and editing each feature one by one. NFS is properly setup and so is the mysql portion.

The errors im receiving are ringbuf errors on the frontend machine:

No one if picking your word apart. This thread stops here. What you need to do is perform an auto install on the "frontend". After rebooting, so thru the step, Once the mythtv setup begins, simply <esc> out, once mythfilldatabase starts, simply <ctrl><c>. Now
You'll want to edit mysql.txt it looks something like this:



After this, simply start the frontend

If this doesn't work, post details as to what failed where given my instructions.

There we go an educated response. Okay I went ahead with the reinstall and all is well. Now I can finally watch video with audio. THANK YOU.
