This looks like a good deal after the free shipping, Kworld rebate ($25) and the Google checkout ($20). You get the kworld 110 for $32.23 + uncle sam :)

Does that require a particular 'firmware' file to run it ?

Probably, according to:
http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/index.php/Kworld_ATSC_110
Unless it's already in the next KM.

Thanks,
"Place a copy of the firmware file (dvb-fe-nxt2004.fw) in your /lib/firmware directory." (Lifted from the above cited article...)

OTOH, maybe the new kernel already has it?
I probably won't bother installing before the next KM is released. So I'll probably try without the firmware, and see if it works. If it does, I'll update the wiki.

I've got my order in too. Seems like a read somewhere that it works nicely with D1. Guess I will find out...

Support for the card was added in 2.6.15. R5D1 has kernel 2.6.17. The firmware has been in KnoppMyth for some time...

Jump down to where Cecil talks about modifying /etc/init.d/KnoppMyth-tv
