Hi,

I have read all the posts related with audio and made tweaks and no luck.
I have pvr 150. The motherboard is shuttle with Via 82xx ac97 audio.
I can play audio (au) from shell prompt using aplay. But when i watch tv from mythtv there is no audio. I tried playing with ansaconf and ansaplayer and i think the settings there are fine. I played mplayer and it also has no audio.

Also i need to add that i have a video monitor cable from my computer to my tv and a audio cable from computer sound card to tv.

Here is one question i have related to hardware.

Right now i only have a s-video connector from cable box to pvr 150. I assume that s-video transmits audio and video to my wintv card.
Do i need a audio cable from my cable box to the wintv pvr 150? If yes how do i connect. The connector on my cable box is RCA and audio input to PVR 150 is computer audio jack.

Thanks

S-Video only does video. You'll need to add an audio cable from the cable box to get the sound into Myth. You should be able to find a cable with RCA plugs on one end and a stereo jack on the other that can plug into the PVR-150.

If you search for "stereo" and "Radio Shack" in the forums you should find references to the exact cable you need.
