This weekend I installed Vista Ultimate and had trouble mapping the myth folder. The following link fixes the problem:

After that I ran the media center and told it to look in the myth directory on the network so I could watch all my movies in the videos folder. It sees the myth and videos directories but then locks up with an error message after 2 seconds. Consistantly.

If anyone has a fix please let me know.

I have it working just fine with Vista. I don't remember doing anything special other than this:
