Are they just counting page hits, or am I not seeing a vote button?

Also, you should give them the logo of tux with the remote control, I love that one :D

The Linux store ad on the page is selling R5C7, isn't that a little behind the times :P

You have to give us clueless types a clue. How does "hitting the link" help? I don't see anyplace to vote or indicate I'm a user of KnoppMyth. I can't hit the link from my KM box, of course, because it's a true settop box and has no frelling browser on it.

So, what do I do again?

Distrowatch keeps a count of hits to the different Distro pages. They indicate that in the column on the right side of their home page by ranking the Distro's. You don't have to do anything but go to the link that Cecil gave to "up our rating". The home page at http://distrowatch.com/index.php?dataspan=1 currently shows that the KnoppMyth rank for the last 7 days is at 31. It was at 71 for the last 30 days.

I have no idea if this is something you can do anything about, but the "About KnoppMyth" section there could use a bit more info then stating it is just an easy to install MythTV.
Perhaps including the extra tweaks that go into it should be highlighted, and the list of packages does not list what version of MythTV is installed, and does not even have the latest version (R5F27) listed at all.

I've just loked and we're 21. But there is a large amount of difference between the number Knoppmyth is making to the top two. 359 for Knoppmyth, while Ubuntu is on 2376 (ish). Was when I looked at least. Ubuntu is second now too.

Hi,

Liv2Cod mentions:

It may be a bit of a pain but you could add a bookmark in the myth browser and then hit the mark from KM :)
Or since KM has a very good engine under the hood, you could add firefox with apt-get... but then a keyboard & mouse would be required once in a while. I keep mine handy on top of the refrigerator.

Or you could ssh into your box and
Code:
lynx http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=knoppmyth

:D

HI,
datobin1 says:

but then again, you could do an alt x then run

lynx http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=knoppmyth directly :)
I always assume that not everyone has two (or more) computers.
