I've just changed my motherboard to a M2NPV-VM. A SPDIF dongle exists for this motherboard.

I want to use SPDIF and I was wondering what is the best between the dongle or the Chaintech AV-710. Chaintech is a little bit more expensive than the dongle but it may be easier to make it work.

I want to use the analog plug to TV and the spdif to my amp.

I read that both outputs can work together. If someone in house needs the amp for Radio or CDs, I will be able to hear audio output through the TV.

So which is the easiest way? Dongle or AV-710?

I went for the dongle which worked right out of the box!

actually, the computer store in front of my office. I paid $10 CND.
