Ok , I have plugged a VGA cable from my box to my HDTV. I didn't even know it has a VGA plug.
According to Bios. CPU is 58°C, MB is 41°C. CPU fan speed is 4600 RPM and it 's loud.... aweful.

slowtolearn: I'm gonna try your settings.
My bios version is 0801. On asus website there is 0901, 1101, 1201 but 1101 and 1201 are not recommanded.

Can Q-Fan be customized?
what is AMd Live for?

I DO LOVE THIS FORUM !!!
thank you slowtolearn: It's make a big difference to enable Q-FAN and with your settings, now I can see the post and enter into the BIOS. I'm happy. I will remove my Zalman controller. It's useless now!

Now I'm gonna try to underclock my CPU. Something like a 4200+ or 3800+ as I saw it was enough. Too many secret. I'm gonna follow your advice. I will add an 1 GB RAM module. because with 128 MB shared, there is not a lot of memory left.

One of my frontends is currently using 0801, can't reboot the other right now as the wife is using it. Haven't had any issues with 0801.

Oh, and I haven't the foggiest what AMD Live! is all about, but I did find this: http://www2.amdlive.com/us-en/about.aspx

For my CPU fan/heatsink I use the Thermaltake Golden Orb II which is very wide but short enough to fit it my low profile Mozart SX case.

So I changed the heatsink.
I got an Artic cooling Freezer 64 Pro. With Q-Fan enabled, I can't hear it and it's 7°C less than the stock fan

Actually, I don't think I will try to underclock my cpu. Everything works, it 's cool and makes no noise.

Thank you all for your advice.

The motherboard can control the speed of the fan and I have a Zalman controller as well. The question is .. Can the heatsinks I'm looking at enter in the case. They are huge.

Artic cooler is cheaper than two others, but I can't find any "noise" review for it.
I've been happy with this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835106073

I have the same one in my box. Very quiet. My motherboard does not have a variable speed controler on it so it runs at full speed. Also a plus with this one is that you don't have to use a special bracket or have to remove the motherboard to install.

Just a word on BIOS flashing-
Not really a huge deal to do it nowadays, but there is always the chance of a problem, and a failed BIOS flash can mean the system is not usable, unless you have a board with dual bios or one of the other "safety" bios measures.

Unless you have a problem, or there is a feature enabled in a newer bios that you need, generally better off leaving it.

Of course, on the other side of the coin, a system with weird or flaky behavior can often BE fixed by flashing a new bios...

Just mentioning it to ensure caution when flashing. :)
