Anyone else notice the drop in new post/day? Must be a function of the new domain/down time.

Sure. This site was dead for almost a week for me. I'm amazed that DNS propagation took more than a few hours.

I noticed the same thing. I see they also allow anonymous viewing of the threads since the move.

Does that mean that Google will eventually crawl the site and we can use a real search engine for searches? That alone, would cut down on repeat questions if one could actually find something with a refined search.

Hi,

The question is whether it is a good thing or bad? It may be that since R5F27 has been around for a while, plus tjc's excellent Hints &Tips, and maybe folks take an extra minute look for answer to their problem that they don't need to post?

It is probably safe to say there are many of the 27K plus members that have graduated well beyond the "noobee" stage and are now being mentors for their freinds.

A lot of the recent post I have observed have been sort of unigue and specialized. Not many of the "recheck the jumpers & bios "stuff :)

I would tend to believe that the community is growing and maturing at about the same rate, rapidly.

Have a great day!
Mike

I did a search on google and came up with a hit for the forum. So it looks like they are crawling the site now.

that kicks ass.

Great find, cameraready. I actually made a discrete topic for folks here.
