Hey all. I treid a fresh install of R5F27 on the combo of Intel DP35DP35 & ATI Sapphire 1650 PRO AGP. I am now getting "INIT: Id "C7" respawing too fast": disabled for 5 minutes" when X windows tries to start.

Is this video card supported? I would love to try out KnoppMyth, but this is the video card I am currently stuck with.

Almost forgot - if it matters, I am using the Hauppauge 350 for a capture card.

Are you familiar with editing /etc/X11/xorg.conf? The driver for this should be "ati". Of peak performance, you'll need to install the ATi drivers.

In my experience (and it's as recent as last week) ATI cards are very poorly supported on linux. There's a proprietary and closed source driver called fglrx that works 'best', but ati and vesa also will get you running.
