ANyone here know how to create/acquire a channels.conf file for Nimiq1??

I cant seem to understand how to go about getting the channels?
Also what do I use to decrypt?


Cesman or XSecrets please help as I am stuck

I have no idea what Nimiq1 is.... MythTV doesn't decrypt anything.

Nimiq 1 is a satellite @91 Degrees West

This whole post seems outta place.. FTA channels are the ONLY dvb source incouraged, or supported.. is Nimiq1 part of bev.. or is it a FTA (free to air)?

it is part of B3v and not FTA.
Where would be a good place to find more info on the use of Mythtv with North American Satellites?

What is B3v? You should be able to use MythTV with it, but you'll need a "box" from your provider since the stream is encrypted.

i am assuming that B3v he is referring to is call bev. its a canadian satalite tv company similar to Dish network, or directtv.
