just want to say i am fairly new to linux so please try to explain things as clearly as you can - thank you in advance

system specs:
Dell Poweredge 400sc
2.8ghz P4-C (800mhz)
250W PS
PNY Geforce 3 Ti200 with svideo out
512 kingston ddr400
1xWD 40gb
1xMaxtor 160gb with 8mb cache
intel 875p chipset
standard cdrom
onboard gigabit nic
onboard sound
Hauppauge PVR250
ATI TV Wonder (BT878)

Can I use both cards to capture/watch tv? If so, how should i wire the cable to these cards?

Booting from the cd(R4V4) worked perfectly. I used the manual installation to partition the disk, wrote the table, and installed successfully. After the computer rebooted, i selected that i had a remote (with pvr250) and i686 modules. I continued on to the backend configuration which went through fine. Afterwards, I used ctrl-alt-f1 to get to the console. I typed install-nvidia.sh and installation began. After I agreed to the license and the driver installed, the screen turns blank. WHAT NEXT?!?!?

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Are you hooked up to a TV? If so, try the sample tv out XF86Config-4(remember it is just a sample and 'may not work for you.
Code:
cd /etc/X11
mv XF86Config-4 XF86Config-4.mysystem
cp XF86Config-4.nvidia-tvout.sample XF86Config-4

Still the sample was done on a Geforce 4, Overscan will not for you... You may need to comment those out. Finally...
Code:
/etc/init.d/gdm restart

Use a splitter on your cable, one to each tuner on the two cards...
