So last night I did a pacman -Syu before I set up a new frontend just to be sure I was up to date. I think it basically upgraded from 7.1 to 7.2. Anyway, since the update whenever I try to play a recording it sits at "Please Wait..." for several minutes. If I wait long enough (5-10 minutes some times) it will start working but obviously this is not good.

Of course the first thing I tried to do to fix this problem was to run "optimize_mythdb.py however it hangs at "REPAIR archiveitems". I let it sit for about an hour before I killed it. I don't know what is going on but I'm pretty much dead in the water and the Mrs. is not happy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Figured it out - root partition was full...

Image caches had grown to well over 1 GB.
