Hi!

Since there are obviously many different Hauppauge models with different tuners out there working only with the correct tuner type and maybe ivtv and/or kernel version installed, wouldn't it be nice to have a list that people can update reporting their card models, revision, ivtv version, kernel version ... when they found a setup that works for them?
So then people can look up their cards in that list and see immediately which tuner they have to set and whether they need newer versions of some drivers.
This could massively reduce trial-and-error procedure trying to combine tuner settings with all flavours of drivers in order to get a working setup.

Opinions?

Why is this posted in KnoppMyth -> Installation? KnoppMyth -> Installation is for issued related to installing KnoppMyth. Yes, you need a tuner to use MythTV, but this is NOT related to installing KnoppMyth.
