Hi all,

I just updated my Knoppmyth R4V5 installation with MythTV CVS .16 edition. All went smoothly except for two things.

1. ivtv-fb does not load up even though i have it specified in the /modules/ivtv (worked before installing CVS) I "bandaid" this by placing this line "modprobe ivtv-fb" in a rc.d/local file that executes on bootup.

2. Mythbackend does not start automatically, I have to open a command line and issue mythbackend -d to start it. What can I do to ensure that it will start up after a shutdown/reboot of the system?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

Happy Holidays to all!

well this is just a guess, but cvs uses a different database schema than the release. Have you updated your db schema?

Hmmm...no...no I havn't. Any links to how to go about doing that?

Everything else works (recording, live TV, etc) once I start it manually.
