Ok, so first of all I am having problems with my nvidia tv-out. The only way to describe it is rapidly moving lines (light and dark lines, not specifically black and white though). The oddest part though? They are ALWAYS there... it's not just during tv playback or after x starts, but the entire time after my mythbox starts. And when did these lines start affecting my tv-out? When I added a pvr-350 to my myth box... So I'm guessing it could somehow be some sort of "interference" from the pvr-350. I'm not using the tv-out on the pvr-350 because I have a bttv card also, and old non-mpeg2 recordings which are very choppy with pvr-350 playback. which brings me to another question. What is saa7115? I have gathered it is related to tv-out (obviously on the pvr-350) does that mean it should not be loading? and if so, how can I stop it? here's a snippit of dmesg output:

Code:
bttv0: timeout: drop=471 irq=41737/41737, risc=1ce7907c, bits: HSYNC OFLOW FDSR
bttv0: reset, reinitialize
bttv0: timeout: drop=471 irq=41738/41738, risc=1153701c, bits: VSYNC HSYNC OFLOW
bttv0: reset, reinitialize
saa7115: decoder set picture bright=127 contrast=63 saturation=63 hue=0
saa7115: decoder set picture bright=127 contrast=63 saturation=63 hue=0
saa7115: decoder set picture bright=127 contrast=63 saturation=63 hue=0
saa7115: decoder set picture bright=127 contrast=63 saturation=63 hue=0
saa7115: decoder disable output
saa7115: decoder enable output

I don't believe the bttv messages mean that much, but the saa7115 output makes me wonder... I'm not too sure what's going on... I'm seriously tempted to just reformat the whole box, or AT LEAST wait till R5 ;).

Oh, and real quick... is it possible to have a different remote (like a usb streamzap remote) working on a box that has a pvr-350 or are you required to use that remote... I can't see that you would be required, but I'm just wondering... I haven't seen it addressed anywhere in the forum.
