Sorry to continue this, but I have a similar setup and am curious if there is a way to route traffic to two addresses. I got Apache going on one machine and host family pics, etc. I would like to be able to do something like this:

machine1.mysdomain.dyndns.org
to get to my normal webpage

machine2.mydomain.dyndns.org/mythweb
to get to my myth box

I have a Linksys WRT45G. I tried setting public port 80 to machine1's internal ip and 8080 to machine2's internal ip, but this didn't work.

I have read a bunch on virtual hosts, but I think that is for hosting two sites on one machine. I want to host two sites on two machines behind one ip. Is that possible? If this ends up being too complicated, I will probably just host it all on the myth box.

doing what you initially tried will work, but you would access the box from the same name as in name.dyndns.org and name.dyndns.org:8080/mythweb you CANNOT have two names go to two different machines behind one public address.

Just a confirmation that this works. Forwarded 8080 external to my internal myth ip and bingo.

I had tried name.dyndns.org/mythweb:8080, so that was the stumper.

Anyway, anyone else interested on sneaking this around your normal webserver, this worked.
