I asked this and it was answered before the forums went down, but I think the thread wasn't backed-up. Anyway, what's the correct syntax to get fsck to do a check/repair of all my partitions at the next boot?

Thanks!

well this is how you check 1 partition.. i run it on all partitions except for the swap if i think there is a problem

Code:
fsck -f /dev/hda1

fsck -f /dev/hda3

fsck -f /dev/hda4

Ahhh... You probably don't want to do that. If you want to fsck the partitions, boot off the CD and run fsck from the CD. You'll want to given fsck the correct fs type.

Someone posted a command that forced the same check I got when I booted from the CD and did it manually. I didn't write it down since it was in the forum. Anyway, anyone know how to accomplish this?
