Hi.
Just changed monitor from crt to 710 TM.
After that would I install knopmyth but
I do not have any echo on the screen at startup, which gives me a nice little problem.
Does anyone have a solution/explanation of the problem?

well not sure what a 710 TM is, but try using the tv paramater at the boot prompt that will set it in a safe mode for nearly any display. If you don't even get the boot prompt, don't know what to tell you.
