ok so i have a 32" lcd tv hooked up to a dvi port on my computer. And the font in the front screen of myth is huge you see part of a t under the tv and so on also if you leave myth and are at the front knoppmyth screen with tux on the couch the time is there but huge and the rest of the bar at the bottom of the screen is gone. and when you right click to see the menu the fonts there are huge too. any clue on how to fix this. all i can find searching is people with small font problems

The same type of solutions generally apply. Set a bogus display size based on the display resolution you're using. On a big screen 100 DPI will probably work better. I explained this all in painful detail to someone not long ago...
