ok, so i get everything working. even the directvscript

but, now i try mythweb....
it works, i go to http://(my IP):9876

(the port9876 is used because my router can translate the public 9876 port to internal port 80. my dad hosts some webservers from time to time, so he needs the public port 80 open...)

so it loads that page that you have a couple of links 2 click on. so click on mythweb.
enter password/usrname
then..... nothing. just says connection refused when attempting to reach (my static IP) and then if oyu go to the same IP in IE it gives you that classic No page to display/page not found error.

so please, whts goin on. it worked yesterday...

Assuming your NAT router is redirecting that other port to port 80 on your MythTV box, can you get to MythWeb from inside your local network by going directly to the MythTV box via it's internal IP address on port 80? If so the issue is actually at the NAT router not the MythTV box.

That might be a basic question, but I've lost count of the number of times I forgot to check the simple things while troubleshooting issues like this. ;)

funny, i thought to check this, but then i looked at the router, it is indeed forwarding port 9876 to port 80 on the internal net...
and if i go to a friends house and type in my staticIP then it brings me to the myth page.... click on the link... logon...and then i get the refused error.

but internaly its working just fine....
and the router is set up correctly.....
so im thinking somethings wrong with the router... but what...
i will upload a picture. of the router config,
