I have a new mythtv r5a22 box, i am new to mythtv, but most of everything works fine. A few days after the install while changeing channels i noticed a issue when using my pvr-150 mce tuner. a few channels above 20 drop out the audio in the first secound that i switch to the channel. i also have a winto go plus card, and have had no adio issues on any channel with that card. I havent noticed audio dropping out in any recordings but i could be wrong about that.

If anyone has heard of this problem or can make any suggestions as to how i can fix this problem please let me know. Thanks allot ahead of time guys

Search for "fine tuning". I recently went throught this with someone who had similar problems. MAKE SURE YOUR SYMPTOMS MATCH before using the work around presented there.

Time for another tutorial on search technique, as well as a admonition to have the patience to read the whole thread before going off half cocked. :?
    1) click on the search link: http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/search.php
    2) paste the words "fine tuning" into the Search for Keywords: entry box.
    3) click on the Search for all terms radio button.
    4) paste my handle "tjc" into the Search for Author: entry box
    5) Hit enter.

The third result is titled "PVR-150 No sound on some channels" which should ring some bells when your stated problem is "sound goes out in first secound on some channels with pvr150" http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... ine+tuning

You'll notice that the fix has a sound reasoned basis, calculating the offset from the IRC frequencies, instead of just being an ad-hoc poke and hope adventure.

BTW - I'm being pedantic about this in the somewhat vain hopes of improving the search and troubleshooting techniques of at least a couple of newbies... :(
