I searched the forum and could not find a strait answer as to whether the Twinhan DVB-S card has been sucessfully installed on knoppMyth to work with a few satellites and a Diseq switch. I would like to try to get this setup with Telstar 5 and Galaxy G10R if anyone has any input on this type of setup please chime in.

Thanks,
Stephen

You may be better suited at searching for the chipset on the card. I use the Twinhan DVB-T card and it works fine, don't know if that really helps :?

Thank you for your reply Girkers I have read on a different forum that the DVB-s cards are still a little flaky with Myth but are working better in the newest version of myth SVR (or something like that). I will keep searching for an answer and might just give it a try to see if I can get it to work with KnoppMyth. If I figure something out I will post my results.....

Thanks again

Thank you again fine sir, just as an update KnoppMyth works great with a Twinhan VP1020A DVB-S card right out of the box. I am still trying to get the motor to respond but I was able to get G10r which has my favorite free music channel "TubeTV" so for now I am very happy an still looking into the motor with USALS.

Thanks to all :P

I am trying to get a fresh install working with a twinhan 102g

Everything seems to go well until I start searching for channels.

What parameters do I need to enter for the search? For now i have a single LNB pointed to echo* 1 @ 148.

I get a good signal using my dish box, but when I try to find anything the channel search hangs up at 3 percent.

Hello.
Re hanging at 3%, I'm sure I had the same problem, I can't properly recall how I got past it but have you tried hitting ALT+TAB at that point to bring up the terminal? I think it may be waiting for a response from you. Can't guarantee thats the answer, I'm going from memory, and was trying everything as each problem came up, so may be getting mixed up!
All the best.
