ok I problaby could have searched more but I've been working on thie project all weekend and frustration is setting in!

Current issue.. playing a dvd from myth and I get werid scrambled video and audio. String is default mplayer.. I tried Xine for fun and it plays just fine so I know the hardware is ok. I messed around with the mplayer string a bit with no sucess.

anyone seen this before?

Hardware
AMD Athlon XP 2500+
Asus A7NX
512mb Ram
200gb
128 MB Geforce MX 5200

Using the new Xnoppmyth build

ok spoke too soon

after setting the mplayer string to xvmc at the end of it
