I ripped a dvd of mine. The project seems to have completed. Basically I seleced the videos to rip to the harddrive and hit 0 but now I can't find the video file. Look under media player and nothing was there. I can watch the movie from under the video disk option.

Tool & Utilities>Video Manager

Video Manager has to index new media in the MythVideo database (unless you have it set otherwise) before will show up in MythVideo.

you should edit your last post... I think that type of language is frowned upon by the developers. Keep this place on the up and up.

find / -name *examples is a good start for most.

What randomhtpcguy said. Please see this thread where some of the rules and the reasons are spelled out. http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9230
