Ok, I upgraded from R4V5 today, and now I cannot access my old recorded programs. I believe the problem may be with the fact that I was using LVM in my previous version. I followed through the steps on knoppmythwiki for upgrading with LVM but still nothing. I did notice that within mythweb, backend staus it is reporting a total size of 3 GB, so I am thinking this is pointing to the problem, I am just not sure where to go.

Thanks for the help!!!
Joe

FYI

I also have been wanting to upgrade from R4V5 for the past couple of weeks. However, I could never get the datbase right to see my old shows. So I was patient and sure enough this weekend R5B7 rolled out. So I ran Ghost onto anther drive just to see how the upgrade would go.
Previously it would work not migrate correctly on R530.2.

This time it worked like a charm :D . The database migrated over just fine (YES!!!). I was really pleased with the result and would like to say big thanks to all who worked on R5B7....

That really ought to be there. Double check the CD. Boot with it and use the "testcd" option.
