Hey All,

Thanks again for the great update!!!

I have been waiting a bit for the new release....

After spending 2 hours trying to get X to run... {error was no screens
found} UGH! ... I have 1GB of ram installed and a FX5200 {128MB}
and for some reason... it bitches about vmalloc {I forgot about this last
time} Some how I missed that error in my dmesg scans.. But after that
all was good I was happy to see my database was restored...

I had access to all of my pre-recorded shows.... and schedules...

Next I checked out MythWeb... Yay it is so much faster now...

However.... I have an issue...

I noticed that all of my Recording schedules channels are all off my one
number. But all is well with the rest. I enter a number in Live TV and it
works as expected.

Is there a faster way {then recreating them} to update my channels set under Recording Schedules?

{Yes I searched for this already.. only found the Mythtv off my one channel via Live TV}

I can't figure out why Mythtv just doesn't allow a manual change on shows that are locked to a specific channel that would be easiest fix for that.... UGH!

Any help would be good.

Well its more interesting then that....

If I delete a schedule, then search for it again... the show is off by one channel.

I ran mythtv-setup and cleared the tuners and channels, creating them again. That cleared up the off-by-one problem for me.

It sounds like your channel lineup changed in some way. The "record" table keys on chanid. Scan through you channel table and see if the "chanid", "channum", and "freqid" columns match (note that chanid is normally something like sourceid*1000 + channum). The easiest way to do this is using webmin. If those are in agreement you can poke at the chanids in the record table.

Oh and in case it's not obvious, it pays to do a DB backup before starting this kind of adventure... ;-)

BTW - Did you follow the upgrade instructions here? http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9069

I had that happen. There is a setting in MYTHTV-SETUP that allows for an OFFSET from CHANID. I found this after I deleted all channels and pulled the ZAP data again. 8)
