Hi all, im having a wee bit of troubles with my mythtv box. Im using Knoppmyth, and the isntallation went smoothly. However when i get to the point of setting up my cable card im having a bit of trouble and i was wondering if somone might be able to help me out. I have a ATI Rage Pro Turbo 8MB card, 60 gig HDD, 512 megs of ram 900 mhtz pentium. Nothing fancy, just something scrapped together. I have Coax going straight from the wall into the card. Im assuming that V4L would be the correct choice for the capture type. . My main peroblem is in input connections its saying
"[ V4L : /dev/video ] (Could not open '/dev/video' to probe its inputs.) -> (none)"
Knowing my luck something is declared wrong somewhere but im not sure how to fix it, Im not getting any signal, no channels, no nothing, please help!

You will probably need to post the output from the dmesg command. Is the ATI card you mentioned the TV tuner card? Do you know if your tv input card is supported by V4L (video4linux)?
