I had just installed yesterday R5B7, my R5A30.2 was locking up too much.
I hope this version will improve things.

however the web interface does not work well.

if I go to the page "http://localhost/mythweb/tv/list" everything is ok, however the page "http://localhost/mythweb/tv/list?hour=18&date=20060406" - retrievs blank error page.

and this is with the whole site. if I go to the main page it's ok, however any sort, select by date or time will result with a balnk error page.

any ideas ?

Are you by any chance using Internet Explorer to access mythtvweb? If so there is a known problem between apache and IE in regards to how they handle the new digest password system. The easiest fix is to install firefox and use that atleast for accessing mythweb. The harder fix is patching apache with a fix for this problem.

Or you can upgrade to Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2, which is now in public beta and is available from Microsofts web site.

Just keep using firefox dude. Like most open source software, it's much better for so many reasons.
