I just tested this and it works. While a little manual intervention is required, it does work. Before start the frontend, as root I mounted my /myth on my slave backend which houses my videos and music.

I then started the frontend, while my video did show up, I couldn't play them. So, I exited the frontend, opened and xterm and started mplayer. I saw the error about creating /tmp/mcop-knoppix. So, as rootVideos now work like a charm! I'll write script that does this automatically for future releases. Hopfully, that should take care of this.
Note:On my master backend, I have my videos directory configured as /mnt/video (as previously stated this is on my SBE). In order for video to function, they must be accessible in the same directory on all system in LinHES.
