Hi,
Does anyone have twinview (or multi-head X output) working with R5D1 on the FX5200 (128MB)? If you do, can you please share your XF86Config-4 file?

I got it to work on R5C1 by modifying the XF86Config-4 file, but when I copied the same config file to my current R5D1 installation, it doesn't work anymore.

Thanks,
Tony

look at:

/var/log/XFree86.0.log

for clues as what might be going on.

Also make sure that the XF86Config-4 that you're using is really the one that you think you are. The Nvidia driver installation has a tendency to overwrite that file from one of the examples.

I'm pretty sure the config file is not getting overwritten because I use different config files depending on the output I need to use (output1 for LCD screen, and output2 for Projector) as a workaround for now.
With the previous version (R5C1), I could have my :0 X display on the LCD screen and :1 X display on Projector simultaenously... I'll take a look at log again... Last time I checked it, I didn't see any error messages, but I might have missed something.
Thanks, Tony
