BTW - For the benifit of someone else encountering this thread, there's another script which gets run at boot time to to initialize the PVR cards called "/etc/init.d/set_ivtv_params" so if you need to do some type of tweak like forcing the tuner into PAL or NTSC, setting an itinital channel, or whatever, this is the place to do it..

I have the same problem with my settup, so thank you all for the work you put into getting a fix in place and posting it. Unfortunately, I'm pretty green when it comes to Linux, so I have no idea what to do with this patch to get it working. Any help is greatly appreciated.
