I'm running an r4 original system with the 0.15 debs since last night. I've recorded a couple programs and it all seems to be working great. I also noticed my ati remote wonder is more responsive with the upgrade for some reason.

Quigs - WHICH directions? There are several different sets which link to more information, which ... ;-) No I didn't use webmin, but the directions I was reading didn't say anything about that. Besides which I usually find webmin more annoying than helpful. The proof of the pudding is that everything seems to be working.

As for the icons, I used the directions in the MythTV docs http://www.mythtv.org/docs/mythtv-HOWTO-21.html#ss21.19 to copy my old ones back in, which I'd already fixed once myself by writing a SQL script to update the DB everytime the initial datadirect hack clobbered them, as described here http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1514&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15. I was just looking for a cleaner way to maintain them going forward. For example, the next time my cable company changes the channel line up.

As you could expect theres an 0.15.1 Release out with a couple of bugfixes. Will you do debs for this? Or should we go the manual compile way?

thx

There will be debs but my personal and professional lif have me busy for the next 2 weeks... So, if you want it in a hurry, recompile.

Hi,
Can you also create/enable the XvMC versions for the VIA EPIA-M hardware. I tried the ones provided and the mythtv-backend says it wants nVidia libraries. Is there a way to enable it on CLE266 boards or can I make dummy links from libddmpeg.so to nVidia library and see if it works ?

I don't have Via hardware, so I won't be producing debs. The XvMC debs are compiled against the nVidia drivers. I don't recommend linking anything to it...

If I'm not mistaken nvidia is the only one that has a working implementation for xvmc in their drivers, so it would not be possible on any other hardware, I could be wrong about that I thought I heard some rumblings about ati support, but never saw where anyone got it working.
