The latest version of ivtv is actually 0.10.1. Looks like the changes are minor, but they did mention cleaning up some IOBOUND messages in the logging.

I've updated the wiki article to reflect the latest version

Can I install ivtv-0.10.1 over ivtv-0.10.0 or do I have to do some uninstall process first?

Nice Wiki article BTW, very clear and easy to follow instructions,

Kevin

No problem installing 0.10.1 over top of 0.10.0. You don't have to worry about any of the kernel stuff or updating the firmware again. Basically, just follow step 2.

**edit ** oh, and you will need to reboot (at least that's the easiest way for me) though since the firmware isn't changing, you don't have to worry about the complete power-down.

I think tjc is the original author of the wiki article ... I found it quite helpful as well.

And back on topic...

I was messing with my xorg.conf file and completely botched it... my modeline wasn't accepted and I'd disabled EDID - so my NVIDIA drivers set me to 640x480.

And here's the weird part - the PVR150 roared back to life!

So I mess with the xorg.conf some more and my 1080p modeline isn't getting accepted - but the res gets bumped up to some like 1280xsomething resolution.

And the PVR150 is still working...

So then I allow EDID to come back and let the drivers do their thing and the PVR150 is dead again.

Wha wha?!?

So I'm on the trail... we'll see how much time I have to spend on it. Watch mostly HD OTA stuff with the other cards now-a-days - so I'm not really motivated.

Just thought I'd give an update...
