For some reason, Video Manager lists all of my 800+ videos just fine. However, when I go to Media Library -> Watch Videos, not all of them are listed there, and therefore I cannot play them. Is there a size limit on the video database or something?

I'm running KnoppMyth R5E50 and this is the first problem I've had so far.

EDIT: I should also mention that in the settings where you can tell Myth where your videos are stored, mine reads '/mnt/Movies:/mnt/Movies2'. All of the movies that are in /mnt/Movies are playable, while all the movies in /mnt/Movies2 appear in the Video Manager list, but not in the Media Library list.

Any ideas?

I've never tried entering multiple directories for the videos dir. If it is supposed to allow that, it looks like it may be broke. You might try checking the mythtv mailing lists or even opening a ticket on it.

One possible workaround is to use symbolic links. I use them and they work fine for videos. Basically (for example), set your videos dir back to /myth/videos. Then execute the following cmds to create two symbolic links:

Code:
ln -s /mnt/Movies /myth/videos/Movies
ln -s /mnt/Movies2 /myth/videos/Movies2
Run the video manager and it should find all videos.

I will give this a try, but I do not think that is the answer. The movies are in the Video Manager list, but not in the list where you can actually play them from (Media Library). Also, I know that putting multiple directories in such as /mnt/Movies:/mnt/Movies2 will work since that is how it is set up on a friend's machine and his works fine.

I'll try symlinks, but does anyone else have an idea?

One idea is that somehow either parental control has been enabled or your files have been marked as non browsable. I believe there's a setting where you can tell myth to make new files browsable by default, maybe that was switched off?

I have no idea about having two directories, but wouldn't it be easier to just have /mnt/videos/ and then mount both groups under that?
