I'm using the latest version of knoppmyth. Everything is working fine. I get video, remote works, and I can change change channels with the supplied ir blaster from hauppage. I have Dish Network and using the 322 receiver. My card is the pvr-150. My problem is I can't seem to change channels using the on screen guide. Every time I want to change channels, all that happens is the recording option comes up. It doesn't change channels. I can change channels manually by inputing numbers in the remote and that's it. Also I can't seem to change channels using CH_UP and CH_DWN also. If anyone can help me with this problem, please help me. I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

I had that same issue. Changing Channels while viewing the Program Guide instead of Scheduling a recording is handledin the setup. I belive it is here.

Utilities>Setup>TV Settings> Program Guide> Page 2> Deselect Use Select to Change channel.

Ch Up and Ch Down just like all of the other buttons on your remote are handled by various assignments in your remote's file /home/mythtv/ .lircrc I believe. There should be other files around here that would work but do understand this is a configurable file and other files may have configured the buttons differently. I believe I used the original one installed with my setup.

ymmv.

Andy

Thank you for the reply. I will make sure to give this a try and hopefully figure out something.

Update: bigbro, your reply really helped! I'm able to change channels using the guide now. Thank you very much!!
