Is there anywhere handy that details the difference between the MythDVD rip quality settings? I have searched here, Google, and gossamer-threads but there is no real answer. I am probably just using the wrong search terms, so if anyone could point me in the right direction then I may be able to figure this out.

This is the way i understand it..(its mostly true..but i figured it out myself of i could be alittle off)

Perfect.. -combines all the VOB's into one big VOB.. No compresion so it is TRUE DVD quality

Excelent - 2 pass encoding (takes alot longer, but better quality then Good)

Good - Same bitrate or close to excellent (same output size anyway) but only one pass. I use excellent most of the time ..


The only part im not sure of is.. Does good and excellent use the same bitrate.. but other then that... thats the way it is.
