Tried reinstalling to R4V4.1 (twice) - but couldnt get sound for the television. Music was ok and other sounds as well - just not when watching tv or recording it.

Reinstalled R4V4 in the excactly same way - and sound was ok again.

try this, worked for me

rm -rfd linux-2.4.25-chw
# to delete the source files previously extracted.
