Version is R5C7

I would like to edit the title and subtitle of some manual recordings.
From the watch recordings screen. I can edit both on any recording that was scheduled but not manual records.

Is this a permissions problem and if so how can I correct it?

The subtitle is date of recording.
I would like to edit the descriptions also as they are blank now.

From the watch recordings screen I can change the title and subtitle but I have been unable to save them. Saving changes on scheduled recordings works fine.

Thank you

P.S I have searched the KM wiki and the Mythtv Wiki and both forums and get lots of results for editing but so far only found info on editing the recordings themselves.

In R5F1 I'm pretty sure it works for other types of recordings. Your other option is to just edit them directly in the DB. The table you want is called "recorded". You can access it easily with webmin or whatever your favorite mysql gui is.

I edited the 15 names in Webmin. I only lost 1 the first one I edited. The Webmin session timed out while I was reading something and I did not save it. It stills shows in Webmin and Watch Recordings just not in MythWeb. I will have to delete it and re-record it I guess.

I spent 20+ hours trying to figure out how to do this with no luck. But, I think because I did I won't forget! :D

Thanks Very Much

You may need to fix something else up in that record so it's consistent...

BTW - You can adjust that time-out. I've got mine set at ~20 minutes It's under webmin -> webmin configuration -> authentication -> auto-logout

The recgroup was different. I don't know how I changed it.
Changed it to default everything is good now.

Time-out is now 20 minutes. Although I don't think I need to spend much time in Webmin. I see great potential for disaster....

Thanks again.
