I've been using R5F1 since it was released. My problem is that every few days, the guide completely loses data. The machine is never disconnected from the net, and running 'mythfilldatabase' as either mythtv or root doesn't add any data. The command completes with "mythfilldatabase run complete" and no visible errors.
The only way I have been able to get the guide populated with data is to reformat and reinstall knoppmyth. As this machine is for my parents, who are pretty much computer illiterate, this doesn't work so well. Can anyone help me please?

Can anyone help with this please? At least tell me a way to repopulate the guide data.

Are you using a grabber or loading data from a file? How are you running mythfilldatabase?

I'm just pressing alt-x and typing in "mythfilldatabase"
My understanding is that it is supposed to do this on its own periodically. I've only been running it when it loses data. I can run it a dozen times without any data showing up.

What grabber are you using?

How do I find that out? I'm just using the default. All I did was enter my user and password in the setup screen.

Will give you an idea of what you've set up.
