Looking for pointer of any log i can check or anything at all. My eyes are going cross-eyed. I did a fresh install of knoppmyth, however i did install eboxy and all the software that goes with nuv2disc . I took it home and fired up mythtv and all i got was a green screen. (the usual one i have seen many time in my myth travels) So i went through all my "mythtv-setup" stuff again. I guess i changed something because then it would only goto a BLACK screen that did not move. So after trying many things i "mythtv-setup" again and cleared all settings. REset everything up again except there is NOThing under "input connections" normal there is 4 items under there. I cant get those items back.. anyway i supose that is related. here is a snippit of my mythbackend.log file its 600 meg long. i cant even open in winscp.

You can just delete the log. The blank screen issue has been talked about numerous times on the forum and is also discussed in the MythTV docs. Is your card seated properly?

well two things.. first i deleted the log. THen i opened the box and pushed on the 401 card it did seat alittle more so it is possible it was too lose. I then booted and tried to watch tv it was still black. I then checked the log, which was not readable size it said permission denied to /dev/video.
I then just

chmod 777 /dev/video

So now im back to GREEN SCREEN!! yeah!! Bad news is that my tv still doesnt work and my log at least to my eyes looks ok. I have set up the tv section probley 6 times now, with no real problems, But i must be missing somthing??? probley right in front of me. Here is my mythbackend log now.
